The May ENSO discussion is in. It predicts that ENSO-neutral conditions will arrive this month or next. That possibly means close to “average” weather for us, although it may be that local conditions will override the global. A regional report, mentioned here earlier, suggests that in western Panama we will have higher than average rainfall during May and June.
